The students I have this year are amazing but presented with a lot more sensory needs than I was not prepared for. When a coworker told me about this opportunity, I was so excited for the chance to supply my classroom with tools I wouldn't be able to financially afford otherwise. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited for EVERYTHING. Their faces lit up to jump on the sensory tiles, hug on the weighted animal friends, get their own pair of wireless headphones and of course for some yummy and nutritious snacks. \r\n\r\nWe've gotten so much use out of the fine motor tools already, they are a great addition to get us ready for writing and to our sensory bins. The gloves and hats found some happy homes and one of my students loves making himself a burrito with the soft blanket. They even loved the boxes!
