This rug will give my students a place to gather when I read a Science book to them! Right now, we don’t have a rug, so instead of the kids sitting on the cold tile, they just stay at their seats and I project the book on the projector. Having a nice gathering area would make the reading so much more engaging for my students. It would also give my early finishers a comfy place to work on their enrichment activities and read books! This rug is also great for my classroom because it shows animal parents and their babies, along with the names for them along the outside rim of the carpet...this is a theme explored by my K-2 students and would be a great visual for them in learning about animal parents and their babies!! Thank you so much for your consideration, and please help provide my students with the most engaging classroom!
