Our school is located in the inner city and is part of the districts magnet program. More than half of the students attending our school are socioeconomically disadvantaged. The students within our school come from many different cultural backgrounds. My students are fourth graders. They love to read and write and work hard every day to complete rigorous tasks to meet the challenge of high stakes state testing. They show true dedication to their tasks and amaze me daily. The students in my classroom are energetic, kind and dedicated to learning. In our classroom we feel like one big family. Our classroom is our home, where we share memories and grow each day.
