While sitting at the table, all of my students will be closer and have access to me and to materials. It will help me be an equal distance from each student. With space in the middle, I can easily keep students on track and help them as needed. It will also create an environment that allows the students face to face dialogue when reading. Discussions will be much more effective and involve each and every student to foster peer motivation and learning. The chairs are bright and colorful and are all the same height to minimize distractions. They are sturdy and far more comfortable than the chairs in our classroom.
