Our 5th graders have been busy using their study sheets on colorful paper and using our new headphones daily. \r\nMany of the resources I asked for are to simply keep our class running smoothly. When students have what they need, it makes learning a bit easier. \r\nFormer students have come to visit our classroom and are jealous of our new headphone options. They wish they had them last school year! Students are thankful for the opportunity to borrow a missing supply. They are respectful when using our new equipment as well. \r\nAs our school year progresses, students will continue to utilize the needed supplies that you were able to give to us. We will create projects about constellations using our new construction paper. I will continue to find supplemental resources to use with our 5th graders in math and science using the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. Thank you again for your kindness. My students were blown away when I piled the table high with all of the items that were donated. I used it as a teachable moment where students were to write a thank you note using a couple sentence stems. Then they had to stretch out a word to see how closely they could spell it.\r\n\r\nAlso, throughout the week, students are given stickers for being caught doing exceptional things.
