Many of my students are from an economically and socially challenging background. They are poor but rich in heart. They come to school with a willingness to learn but face many obstacles. They are independent but need support and direction. My school is a K to 8 elementary school with approximately 565 students. The Fell School has a very diverse student population consisting of children such cultures as Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Nepalese, Indian, Pakistani. All receive free breakfast and lunch at school.
