Your generosity is helping our student council and students stay organized, prepared, and creative throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThe pegboard gives our student council a dedicated place to keep important items—especially the name tags members wear when they welcome new students and lead tours of our school. Having those name tags easy to find helps our students serve as confident, welcoming guides.\r\n\r\nThe copy paper is already making a difference, too. It lets me print the materials students need, including colorful posters and digital designs, as well as color photos for collages. These supplies help students bring their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nThe pocket organizer keeps useful, year-round resources close at hand, including an essay-writing cheat sheet, syllabi, and a guide to citing sources in research papers. Students can quickly find support when they need it.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping create a more organized, engaging learning environment. These resources make a meaningful difference for my high school students.\r\n\r\nThe timer gives students a clear visual reminder of how much work time remains, helping them stay on track and complete projects without having to keep track of the time on their own. The fidget toys help many students focus, whether they're taking notes or working on a project.\r\n\r\nAt first, students spent a week exploring all the different fidget options. Now they know they can choose one when they need it, and the toys are used often throughout class. My students are grateful for these helpful tools—and so am I. We have been able to promote our Student Council store during lunch times, mockups of the yearbook pages they have designed, advertising for events like blood drives and field trips, and, most recently, the opportunity to add a loved one who has passed to our school ofrenda or altar for the Day of The Dead in November. Not only will students be able to have color photos of their loved ones on the altar, but the posters are bright, colorful, and descriptive of what each item on the altar represents. This sharing of cultures is deeply important for all students, but especially high schoolers in a school as diverse as ours. \r\n\r\nSecondly, students in my history classes are able to have color pictures in their tests. We are an arts integrated school, so one of my priorities is to give them access to paintings and photographs of real history. For example, while learning about the civil war I provided my students with photographs and paintings of John Brown, Harriet Tubman, and Abraham Lincoln to analyze and determine the artist's opinions of each historical figure. This is invaluable as it allows them to learn the actions and personalities of each figure as well as contemporary opinions about them. \r\n\r\nHaving access to more color ink is an incredible benefit to all of my classes and we thank you very much for giving us access to new projects and ways to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1774875750483,"projectUrl":"project/eco-friendly-color-printing/10140360/","projectTitle":"Eco Friendly Color Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tull","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9280100_orig.jpg?crop=790,790,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1701092316609","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9280100"},{"teacherId":4926664,"projectId":8367869,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the materials you provided in my \"Everything in its Place\" project! Our student store stayed stocked for a few weeks with the \"You got snacks, miss?\" We have a program here that helps stress the importance of attendance. The kids get \"paid\" for each hour they are here, and at the end of the week, after their investments and charitable donations, they get to spend their \"money\" at the student store. It helps us teachers out (we spend less of our money), and the kids are learning the value of attendance- and their dollars.
