My goal for this room is to create a space where students can feel comfortable in individual and group therapy sessions. Comfortable settings and seating like bar stools or bean bags play a big part in having people feel relaxed and being receptive to therapeutic interventions. My next goal is to have space equipped for students to work on a 16 session group psychotherapy program called SPARCS. SPARCS stands for Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress and the need for this program is great. Having a charging station and appropriate cords can help the students with charging computers, tablets, or any other technology we may choose to use for their activities.

About my class
