We have been learning about change in nature, weather, and people. It's great to see how something as simple as light covers can change the whole atmosphere of our classroom. The kids love to grab a surf desk and spread out around the classroom to work with a partner. The surf desks have been a wonderful addition to our small group rotations. Students are able to gather together on the carpet in front of the board and actually work successfully. Using the desks while completing work around the classroom and/or in a small group setting on the carpet has allowed for better focus and improved work quality. The part I love the best is that I am not tripping over students who are lying down on the floor trying to work off of a clipboard. \r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, my students have reliable working headphones at all times and surf desks that have led to a desire to complete any task set before them.
