The materials that I am requesting for my students will help to further instill a love for numbers and letters. Most of my students come in with very little numeracy or literacy knowledge. I love to see them beginning to make sense out of math and begin to put words together by learning phonics and letters. I aspire to teach my students the joy of learning both numbers and letters in my Pre-Kindergarten classroom. With these new materials, my students will be able to choose from a variety of games and manipulatives that will help prepare them for future learning.
