As a teacher, it is already a difficult or challenging task to keep students focused and motivated. As a student, it is more difficult to stay focused and motivated when you may need to move around. Our classroom has transformed into a more flexible academic environment. Students are no longer forced to sit and learn in the traditional way of students at their desks, and the teacher teaches. Students are able to decide where and how they want to learn. \r\n\r\nIn addition, the academic supplies of folders, pencils, and dry erase boards has enabled my students to be ready in their academic environment. They are no longer stressed about getting school supplies to survive their academic day. Next, the large seat pocket organizer stores everything neat and keeps it readily available throughout the day. My students find it so helpful for academic materials to always be at arms reach. Last but not least, the sanitation supplies keeps our classroom free from germs and smelling fresh throughout the day. My students said that these items will keep them healthier and safe if a classmate is sick and our classroom always smelling fresh. \r\n\r\nMy students feel they have so much more control over how and where they will be the most successful in our classroom environment. This has definitely changed the meaning of independent learning.
