The students individually will be able to experience a partially distraction free zone during assessments or independent work time. I’ve noticed the tendency of my students’ eyes wandering during assessments. Often they don’t trust their own answers and may resort to cheating off of someone else. I don’t want them to fall into that trap of dependency and lack of confidence. The partitions I've requested will block out their wandering eyes and help them concentrate on what's in front of them. The headphones I requested will help my students with the i-Ready online program. This program requires headphones for many of the lessons during individualized instruction. I have never had enough for my students. After each technology rotation of 4 students, we have to manually clean the headphones for the next group.(This is repeated for all of my classes.)
