The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom. They love to use technology. Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students to improve their decision making skills with technology-based programs, which are designed to increase student learning. Technology centers will allow my students to take charge of their learning and become independent learners. I have noticed a drastic change in students when they are engaged through centers and not just sitting at their desk. It is my hope that they will continue to learn the skills necessary to be successful in life. Modern learning is about collaborating with others, solving complex problems, critical thinking, developing different forms of communication and leadership skills, and improving motivation and productivity. Additionally, they'll be ready for future digital demands. My students are ready for more rigor to enhance their knowledge of mathematical concepts. The concepts at these centers include: number sense, proportional relationships, algebraic thinking, geometry, and probability. By making a contribution to this project, it will allow them to perform at their maximum abilities, enhance centers with more interactive activities, higher-level thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills.
