The huge shipment of Play-Doh made it possible for each student to have their own jars. Having something to manipulate makes the hard work of improving their speech and language skills more enjoyable (and their attention is better!)\r\n\r\nThe puppets have quickly become a favorite in our room. Even my quietest students have begun using them to act out stories, practice conversational turns, and share thoughts they typically keep inside. I've already heard some creative dialogue and seen moments of connection I don't believe would have happened without these new materials.
