Based on ELA Reading and Informational text standards. These books are adequate for these two standards and more. In funding, my project students that did not grow during COVID can reach grade level, and those that did manage to continue growing can read past their grade level. The books I've chosen will help decrease the fluency gap between what students learned in Kindergarten to what they will need to know by 3rd grade. My kiddos can learn how to reach new worlds with these books by diving into the past, present, or future!
