My students are funny. They make me laugh all the time, even when it's not the most appropriate timing. They are eager and hungry for knowledge. They enter the room with smiles and look to me for guidance on how this day, week, months, year will be. They provide ideas on projects that we are doing. In short, they are fabulous! They are a unique blend of humorous, sensitive, thought provoking and bold students that I have the privilege of teaching everyday. My school encompasses K-12 students, and I teach first grade. Everyone is willing to share and promote positive communication. Our principal has a vision that places students' responsibility in their hands. Our principal is a hands-on and motivating individual. He doesn't ask anything of us that he would not do on any given day. We are grateful and blessed to have him. Our school is a charter based school that believes in each student's highest capability. We are only one of two charter schools with a 5 star rating
