Students now have designated spaces for their supplies, which has cut down on lost items and transition time. This means more time focused on instruction and less time spent organizing. It has also helped students build responsibility and independence, as they take ownership of their own learning spaces.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students the most are the engaging reward and sensory items. The drawing boards, putty, and fidget tools have been powerful motivators and supports for focus. Students are eager to earn these items, and they've become especially helpful for those who need extra support with attention or self-regulation. I've seen students who previously struggled to stay on task become more engaged and confident when given these tools.
