Finding ways to engage and motivate my students is my number one priority. After over a year of distance learning, it’s been extremely difficult to keep kids focused and engaged throughout the school day. Therefore, with this project, it will provide me with the opportunity to do a variety classroom transformations throughout the school year, and for years to come! As Covid will have a lasting impact on education and students. A classroom transformation is where you add items to your room to turn it into a new learning space and experience. You then prepare content that matches that learning space. They are SO much fun for students and the students get so engaged that they don’t even realize that they are learning. Classroom Transformation Ideas: Neon Glow Room, Space Adventures, and Camp Learn A Lot These resources will help set the stage and get students engaged and ready to learn the standards I will be teaching.
