These materials will provide students a hands on opportunity to learn and explore multiple subject areas. These materials will also provide students a chance to engage in meaningful discourse with their peers. Many of our students were not able to engage in these interactions with distance learning, and I plan on having students work with all of these materials with partners or in groups. (SL.K1a, SL.K1b, SL.K.6) Many of these materials focus on building students' foundational phonemic and reading skills. The magnetic letter blocks, letter puppets, letter locks, sight word fishing game, letter beads, and kinetic sand will be used to focus on the following standards: RF.K.1d, RF.K.2d, RF.K.3a, and RF.K.3c. Some of these materials will also be used to build students' mathematic foundational skills. The counting links, magnetic number tiles, ice cream counting game, tens frame cards will be used to focus on the following standards: K.CC.A, K.CC.B, K.CC.C, K.OA.A, K.NBT.A
