My students were incredibly excited and grateful when they first saw the new materials. Their faces lit up with joy, especially when they noticed the flexible seating options and sensory tools. They couldn't wait to start using everything, and it immediately created a positive and motivating atmosphere in the classroom.\r\n
Next, students will be using their new supplies and books to work on reading and writing projects, including printing and publishing their own reports. I use the conversation cubes in small groups as well to promote healthy discussion.\r\n\r\nThe gel emotion faces, the Big Feelings Pineapple, the breathing track, the Emotional Carrot, and the Calming Rainbow Fidget toy have already been utilized in individual counseling to help my students calm down and to identify how they are feeling.\r\n\r\nAs a first-year counselor, these resources have been so helpful to my students and me.
