The inflatable sensory Pea Pod applies deep-touch pressure to calm children with sensory processing issues and helps define spatial boundaries. Every time they are in a challenging situation, they will have a safe area to calm themselves without engaging to any maladaptive behaviors. As a teacher and second mother to my kids, I would want to provide a safe and healthy environment while learning and provide them equitable learning opportunities despite their behavioral challenges. This project will solely help my students to be successful by giving them a safe and healthy learning environment and quality educational resources that will make learning smoother and more meaningful. If this project is realized with your help, it will help my students succeed in meeting their individual needs. I am truly honored to be participating in this undertaking in promoting educational success among our dear learners.
