It was amazing to see even my more hesitant communicators jump in and participate. The hands-on materials really helped lower barriers and made communication feel fun and natural.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the materials to build play-based lessons where students can practice real communication skills. One of our favorite activities has been using the sandwich-making set with a story—students love building their own creations while practicing requesting, sequencing, and commenting. When the boxes arrived, my students' faces completely lit up with excitement and joy. They were so eager to see the tools that would help them become better readers and writers. These resources have already transformed our daily literacy centers into vibrant, hands-on learning spaces. We've been using the colored paper and laminating sheets to create durable HMH Into Reading centers along with 95 Phonics High Frequency word lists and spelling lists. We have been using the markers and constuction paper to create projects for our HMH Into Reading crafts that aline with the stories in each module. The resources you provided with ensure these materials last for many more lessons to come. \r\nThe impact of your gift was truly felt during our recent HMH module comprehension craft project. After reading several stories, students were able to use the supplies to build a story-themed character project that helped them retell the plot and identify key details in the story. These resources have fundamentally shifted how my students engage with literacy. By making decoding and encoding a tactile, hands-on experience, you've helped transform \"work\" into \"play\" for my reading intervention groups.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were ecstatic—it felt like a holiday! The talking mirror phoneme set was an instant favorite. One of my students, who had been struggling to distinguish between the \"b\" and \"p\" sounds, spent several minutes watching their own mouth in the mirror. Their eyes lit up when they finally saw the physical difference in how their lips moved. \"I can see the sound!\" they shouted.\r\n\r\nWe are also making daily use of the letter clips. It's a wonderful \"two-birds-one-stone\" resource; while students are practicing their phonics skills, they are also strengthening the fine motor muscles in their hands—skills that are often underdeveloped due to increased screen time on iPads.\r\n\r\nFrom a teacher's perspective, the phonics dry-erase boards have been a game-changer for our classroom flow. Because they keep everything organized and accessible, we no longer waste precious minutes cutting out paper tiles or hunting for stray magnetic letters. Every second of our intervention time is now spent actually reading and writing.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, the sensory bottles have become an essential tool for our students who are working through behavior interventions. These bottles provide a calm, visual way for students to regulate their emotions and describe their feelings, ensuring they are in the right headspace to learn.\r\n\r\nNow that my students have mastered individual sounds using the talking mirrors, our next step is to use the word-building kits to tackle multisyllabic words. We are currently starting a project where students \"build\" complex words and then use the dry-erase boards to \"code\" them by identifying prefixes and suffixes.\r\n\r\nYour contribution didn't just buy supplies; it bought us time, engagement, and a lot of \"aha!\" moments.
