The Time for Kids! gives my students the opportunity to learn about current events at their grade level. The students will also be able to learn about subjects they love, such as the ocean, forests, dinosaurs, soccer, etc. These materials are also a great way for them to learn how to write a summary about what they have learned in their own words, all while learning some great vocabulary! With the Time for Kids materials, my students will be able to learn about current events while reading independently at their own grade level. SS.3.17 - Analyze the contributions and positive impacts of culturally, racially, and ethnically diverse people throughout the world.
