These headphones will provide opportunity for independent reading and math skills practice for my students. The classroom technology area is a space that my students really enjoy. My students know they are going to get uninterrupted time to listen to reading or practice their number recognition. In order to learn, while listening and interacting with the programs and devices, the children must be able to hear without distracting background noises. The headphones would make this possible. The students will need the headphones to listen to the directions on the device and to listen to stories. The ability to hear directions and stories through the headphones will allow the students to focus on the task at hand.
