When the boxes arrived, the energy in our room was electric. My students were so excited as we unpacked the Crayola Color Sticks, the vibrant watercolors, and the Kwik Stix tempera paint. There is something truly special about a child seeing a brand new set of high quality art supplies and realizing that someone they don't even know cared enough to provide them. Their favorite discovery was easily the Rainbow Scratch Paper. They were thrilled to \"reveal\" the colors beneath the surface during our class compliment party.\r\nWe have already put these materials to use in a very meaningful way. We used the Kwik Stix, watercolors, and Sharpies to create self portraits. Because you provided the Global Skin Tone set, every single one of my students was able to find a color that accurately represented them, building a wonderful sense of pride and inclusion in our classroom. The Kwik Stix are a total game changer for us.
