These tools and books will help my students use decodable texts in in color! The decodable texts will provide students with the opportunity to apply the skills taught during whole group when they are reading in small group or independently during reading rotations. Many of the items I am requesting support students who struggle with phonemic awareness. Many of my students are working to learn how to decode and encode words. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
