My classroom is a very busy place. New whiteboards would be amazing because my students could use them for spelling words, answering questions, and solving math problems. These whiteboards are extra special because they are magnetic! Having magnetic whiteboards will be so much more effective because my students will be able to build words so they can orthographically map them to their memory! These boards will also allow my students to use magnetic manipulatives while solving math problems. During the pandemic, many of my students missed out on in person school. They have learned so much, but at the same time, they have some gaps in their learning. This is especially evident with oral language, phonemic awareness, and number sense. Many of them also struggle with social skills such as problem solving and getting along with others. By giving my students games and stem toys, they won't just learn to read and do math, but to be responsible, respectful citizens.
