My materials will help students strengthen their reading and science skills and provide the books and tools to do so! Mentor texts and hands-on materials are essential for my students' learning. Reading the non-fiction text to the students will allow them to learn text features and new information. The science materials will allow the students to learn external parts of animals and ways to be a scientist such as making observations. With these new books, my students will be able to enjoy great shared readings! They will also be able to participate in so many fun life science lessons that we do inside the classroom! I know that with these books and materials, it will deepen their understanding of the topics on pumpkins, animals, scientists, and more!
