My students were SO excited for all of the packages that arrived with new materials for our classroom library. They wanted to explore the books and still a couple months later are anticipating the opportunity to check one out after another student finishes. I have read some of the books aloud as well, so we have learned fun facts, all about Soccer, lessons on sharing and kindness, and so much more from this gift. If you came into our classroom you would see a variety of bins with a huge variety of topics, perfect for each different reader in the room. Students would be quietly curled up in a corner of the room enthralled with the book. I have even received parent emails saying how much more their child is loving reading this year, and I am truly so thankful that I have the opportunity to help them connect with books and begin a lifelong love of reading.","fullyFundedDate":1733229487230,"projectUrl":"project/every-child-reflected-in-the-library/8581991/","projectTitle":"Every Child Reflected In The Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Theis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6574737_orig.jpg?crop=385,385,x0,y24&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1719926382588","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6574737"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72312","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":446,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":7,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":70,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"17.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":94.4,"schoolId":72312,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about ADA Vista Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"ADA Vista Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/forest-hills-public-schools/ada-vista-elementary-school/72312"}
