I teach in a great Spanish Immersion school. My students are mostly native English speaking children, who are learning the Spanish language, as well as math, science and social studies in Spanish. They are being prepared to enter a global work environment, and become more globally aware and globally sensitive citizens. My students are very curious about the world around them. They love exploring their interests, but their interests are not all the same. They love to converse with each other about what they are learning, particularly when it comes to non-fiction text! Our classroom is a place where collaboration can be found and where you will constantly see students moving to complete different activities. It is a great place to learn!
