My students were elated to see and be able to utilize the new equipment. It is much easier to transport the floor hockey sticks around the gymnasium and get the equipment set up. I am also so appreciative of the volleyball cart. I no longer have to bed down to try and dig out volleyballs from the bottom of the bin. And of course my students love that they can shoot the volleyballs into the bin! Both sets of equipment were previously housed in an old plastic trash can. The heaviness and awkwardness of the floor hockey cart made it extremely difficult to move the hockey sticks every single day. It is also so convenient that the hockey balls/pucks can be moved together with the sticks. Overall, I feel more confident in my abilities as an educator and able to create a more professional learning environment for my students. \r\n\r\nThis may seem small, but the duct tape is an excellent resource to have in PE. There are so many uses for it. It has been a big help to have the duct tape strengthen the wooden hockey sticks.
