My students love using the computers. Each interaction opens their eyes and minds to the many facets of this wonderful channel of information. Through interaction, application, and communication, they realize the skills they learn can be applied to real world situations on their level now and through their adulthood.
The projector will enhance their learning experience, as I show the Problem Solving Process and Applied Digital Skills videos and Power Point presentations on a wide Smart board for better viewing to enhance clarity for all learning styles. They verbalize their unhappiness when the projector we use overheats while they are focused and anticipating what new skill they will learn.
The 8th graders are creating a game utilizing the problem solving process and creating a web page. The 6th and 7th graders are learning how to use google docs, sheets and slides to create a budget, a scrap book, a research project, a power point presentation and many things digital.
