The basketball game and air hockey table will provide many positive memories and create plenty of beautiful friendships that will last forever.
Games encourage team building, books improve literacy skills, and cognitive function, our students will learn about games children play across the world and incorporate them into our game room.
Our students work hard every day to do their absolute best. However, sometimes all of us may have a bad day. Our goal is to teach students that a bad day does not last forever nor should it become part of our normal routine. This project will allow us to reward students who have displayed positive behavior for the majority of each month with a ticket to our games day. During this time classes will come to the Game Room for one hour to enjoy board games, as well as team competitions. Some students may want to sit quietly with a book on history and civics. Who says that school should not be fun? This program will hopefully encourage students to try their very best every day, and to be able to enjoy the benefits of doing what they are supposed to.
