Because of you, my students are able to participate in engaging, hands-on laboratory experiences while maintaining clean, safe, and organized workstations.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the donated products during lab investigations, including our sea star dissection and other marine science labs. The cleaning and organization supplies have been essential in helping students properly prepare their lab spaces, manage materials responsibly, and clean up effectively after each activity. This has allowed our labs to run smoothly and safely, just like in a real scientific setting.\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment occurred during our sea star dissection lab. Students carefully examined external and internal anatomy using proper tools, then followed clear cleanup procedures using the donated supplies. This reinforced not only scientific skills, but also accountability, lab safety, and respect for shared learning spaces.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and curious—many had never worked in a structured lab environment before. They quickly took pride in keeping their workstations tidy, asking questions about proper lab protocols, and holding each other accountable. Several students commented that it made the experience feel more \"professional\" and realistic.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our next steps include additional laboratory investigations and hands-on experiments where students will continue practicing proper lab procedures, organization, and cleanup. These skills are helping them build confidence and prepare for more advanced science coursework.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in both the learning and safety of my students. Your generosity is making a lasting impact in our science classroom, and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1758295993078,"projectUrl":"project/science-class-supplies/9452000/","projectTitle":"Science Class Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hamill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9689812"},{"teacherId":9224333,"projectId":9496522,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support by donating funds to purchase materials.
