The kids have enjoyed opening the curricular materials and they have adopted the items onto their does first then boards and are working for these items (which is amazing- it means they don't know they are working through play!!) The new gross motor equipment — hula hoops, soccer balls, footballs, and playground balls — has brought so much excitement and energy to our students.\r\n\r\nWhen the box arrived, the children could hardly contain their excitement! They were eager to open it and start playing right away. The first day we used the equipment, the playground was full of laughter and teamwork. The students took turns rolling balls to one another, practiced tossing and catching, and even created their own \"hula hoop obstacle course.\" It was wonderful to see how much joy and cooperation these simple tools brought to their playtime.\r\n\r\nWe're using the new materials to build coordination, balance, and teamwork skills during our daily outdoor and movement times. The hula hoops have also become part of our \"Move and Count\" activity — where students jump, hop, or spin while counting aloud, helping them build both gross motor and math skills at once!\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue using these materials during our fall \"Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds\" unit, where students will learn how movement helps keep their bodies strong and their hearts healthy. These resources are helping us make learning active, engaging, and fun every day!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and support.
