Since the main objective in my classroom is learning through play and exploration, a new light table to explore during free play will really expand the large and small group learning. The Play & Explore Color-Changing Light Center along with the translucent letters, numbers, and pattern blocks will give my students a sensory experience to enhance their practice with preschool skills such as color, shape, number, and letter identification. Their fine motor skills will also be worked on while they play and manipulate the Crystal Building Blocks to explore the ways the light affects their toys. As students explore and play with the light center, they will have valuable experiences in communicating with their peers and learning together!

About my class
