When my students first saw the couches, they were so excited! Their smiles and excitement made it clear how much they appreciated having a special place of their own to enjoy books. It has been wonderful to see them eagerly choosing books and settling into their cozy spaces.\r\n\r\nAs we continue throughout the school year, my students will use these cozy corners during independent reading time, partner reading, and opportunities to explore new books. I look forward to seeing them continue to grow as readers while developing confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading. My students just love the Treasure Chest. They want to get something out of it everyday 😀 The table cloth covers my filing cabinet so the Treasure Chest becomes more authentic. \r\n\r\nThe students also love the Sticky Hands and little treasure Boxes. They are using the Little Treasure boxes for their tooth that just fell out or little ducks they get from Specials. I have not brought out the Gold Coins yet, but I know they will be a hit.\r\n\r\nI really love the smiles these items have put on my students faces.
