One moment that really touched me was when one of our athletes, who has been battling constant ankle pain, finally felt relief after we were able to properly wrap and treat her. She looked at me and said, \"Coach, I actually feel okay to run today.\" That meant everything.\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw all the new supplies, their reactions warmed my heart. They were excited, curious, and honestly a bit shocked that people they've never met cared enough to invest in their well-being. Many of our athletes come from backgrounds where access to proper recovery tools isn't guaranteed, so to them, this felt like a huge blessing. Their smiles, questions, and eagerness to learn how each item worked reminded me why support like yours matters so much.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these supplies will help us keep teaching our athletes how to take care of their bodies, prevent injuries, and recover safely. I have a wheel that I spin daily for students to pick something from our prize box. They are going crazy over the meme stickers and the GOGO Squeeze. When I added snacks to my cart, I explicitly thought about the school lunch at our school and how it is not designed to fulfill students' hunger, nor is it desirable. I wasn't sure if my students would like the granola bars and healthy snacks from the snack boxes, but they were a hot commodity! Many students saved their snacks to split with their siblings at the end of the school day and I even had students gift their fig bars to their parents. \r\n\r\nOn the flip side, I have also had kids tell me that some of the prizes are items they have always wanted but have never been able to afford. That is one of the most gratifying feelings so far. In the future, students can remember this moment to motivate them to continue to do well.
