Exploring new concepts and skills in math frequently can be a very daunting and overwhelming task. This is made more difficult when students do not have the materials they need. However, by equipping students with graphing calculators we are giving them the tools they need to succeed. Students at my school struggle with calculator access, therefore I would like to offer students calculators so they can be successful in math everyday. Due to limited funding, many students do not have access to calculators. This is problematic as one of the requirements for students to be successful is a graphing calculator, which is used in every unit of the course and assessments. Additionally, this is also a tool that most students at other schools have access to. Thank you for helping me prepare my students for success!
