In my classroom students will explore a variety of topics within the health field. The purpose of the course is to give students health knowledge that will give them the confidence to become leaders in their community. Having access to technology will help my students explore health topics in depth and become more exposed to health disparities and how they can help their community overcome them! Students will research important figures in health, compare health views across different cultures, and research health disparities among different racial and ethnic groups. These projects will allow students to expand their knowledge of the health topics we explore.
