They were especially drawn to the colorful fluency passages, matching picture sentence strips, and the two new comfy seats. The sentence strips paired with pictures have been incredibly helpful for supporting decoding and comprehension, allowing students to blend words and immediately connect them to meaning. The comfy seats have quickly become a favorite spot for partner reading, giving students a comfortable, inviting space to read together, practice fluency, and build confidence.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these resources to strengthen phonics, sight word recognition, and reading fluency through targeted games, word-building activities, partner reading, and repeated reading practice.
