The stools will make it easy for 8 children to fit comfortably around the reading table even if they are in the area that is near the table legs. The stools will tuck under the table when we are not at group so no child or teacher trips on the chair legs that stick out because the table's legs prevent the chairs from pushing all the way under the table. The privacy screens will replace the ones I have had for the past 7 years. My old ones are having trouble staying up and over the years have marks or holes that the students have a hard time ignoring. We are using class dojo to encourage good choices and celebrate student's sucesses and allows parents to know what is happening in the classroom. With an additional iPad (with a protective cover) students can record each other reading, their great work and projects and the pictures/video can be posted for all parents to see. This will help motivate students to get involved in their learning.
