Because of your kindness, my students now have access to an iPad that is helping them develop essential social-emotional skills. As a school psychologist, I work with students who experience challenges with emotional regulation, anxiety, communication, and peer relationships. This iPad has become an incredibly valuable tool during our individual and small-group sessions, allowing students to practice identifying emotions, learning coping strategies, and building problem-solving skills in an engaging and supportive way.\r\n\r\nMany of my students respond especially well to visual and interactive learning, and the iPad helps make these lessons accessible and motivating. Through apps, guided activities, and interactive scenarios, students are able to explore feelings, practice calming strategies, and learn how to navigate social situations more confidently. The technology allows us to make abstract emotional concepts more concrete, helping students better understand themselves and how to manage their reactions.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is making a meaningful difference in the lives of students who need extra support to thrive socially and emotionally. The laminating pouches have allowed for the lamination of materials handled by many little hands, thus lasting for many more rotations. The magnets have helped in hanging pocket charts on the whiteboards for students to use during center activities and the cloths are used to wipe off whiteboards and laminated sheets during center activities or small group work activities. The bingo chips have been a big hit when playing Loteria and will serve their purpose for many more games to come. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your support in providing not only a functional listening center, but also for helping me extend the life time of the center resources students enjoy and learn from.","fullyFundedDate":1768163423157,"projectUrl":"project/functional-and-engaging-listening-librar/9999004/","projectTitle":"Functional and Engaging Listening Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramirez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5987056_orig.jpg?crop=2157,2157,x162,y286&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1600575797391","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-ramirezwynn"},{"teacherId":1633957,"projectId":9692980,"letterContent":"Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our entire school community. They will better understand how everyday choices—what they consume, how they treat others, how they solve problems—can positively influence their community and the world.\r\n\r\nEven more exciting, our older students will use these books as teaching tools to support younger learners. By reading aloud, leading discussions, and facilitating simple action projects, upper-grade students will help introduce the SDGs in age-appropriate ways.
