Students experience a more natural learning environment when they can manipulate and handle supplies. This project will support my first grade students in their learning journey this year. The activities and materials in this project support independent reading, letter recognition, fine motor skills, and independent learning. My first graders are excited to learn through play and are more engaged when given the opportunity to use hands-on learning materials. We learn how to use and store our materials in a safe and respectful way, encouraging students in learning social skills for their future.

About my class
