I serve at a school where the students come from a low socio-economic background. They are some truly wonderful children where school is the only place where they feel safe and have a meal. We create an environment where our philosophy is to empower children to achieve their highest aspirations for now and the future. One of the ways to do that is by the flexible space seating (wobble chairs and bean bag chairs), which allows students to learn in a fluid environment; therefore, they will have a higher rate of academic success. Since most of the students in the community do not have enough meals in the day, we are in need of a fridge where I can provide fruit, yogurt, etc. as a snack before they go home. Please help fund my project for students in need of flexible space seating and a place to store and eat nutritious food.
