Here are two examples:\r\n\r\nThe students have benefitted from the wobble stools, providing movement when working at the table during small group time. Students enjoy being able to wiggle to maintain focus when doing challenging academic tasks, such as reading and writing.\r\n\r\nThe rolling easel has been used often as another vertical space for collaborative problem solving during mathematics. This additional vertical space has created opportunities for students to discuss, draw, write and justify their mathematical ideas in a supportive, low-risk environment. The whiteboard makes learning visible in real-time, allowing comparisons between student groups. The use of the easel promotes active engagement and risk taking (because it's a non-permanent surface). \r\n\r\nThank you again for your contributions to our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1768079001083,"projectUrl":"project/interactive-learning-tools-to-support-re/9991250/","projectTitle":"Interactive Learning Tools to Support Reading and Mathematics Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Vega","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1250009_orig.jpg?crop=600,600,x0,y22&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565246559073","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/miss-vega"},{"teacherId":10403875,"projectId":10018960,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping our classroom become a more collaborative and engaging environment. As soon as the packages arrived my students were so excited to see what was in them. \r\n\r\nFirst, the seat cushions have been a very nice addition to the comfort of our room. They have been working great as rewards and the students have been appreciated a little extra support on our not so comfy chairs.\r\n\r\nThe large whiteboards have been especially appreciated by me because they have allowed more room for all the work we do throughout the day. During ELA, students are able to share their thinking and answer the questions I write on them. Instead of immediately erasing it due to lack of board space, we are able to put them to the side and come back to them and continue our discussion as we complete our reading and work. During math, we are able to do a similar process as well as being able to answer problems in groups and have more workspace. We have also been using them to keep track of information we want to keep adding to. Such as listing out dates/events for our class timeline, keeping track of WPM reading scores, making lists, etc.\r\n\r\nLastly, the sitting desks are what my students have appreciated the most. They love being able to come down to the carpet and still have a solid surface they can do their work on. We use these throughout the entire day on all subjects. My students are always very eager to get the chance to use them, whether it is whole group time, working in partnerships, and doing their iReady lessons independently on them. My students love getting to sit up front and use the desks and I love that I have different students coming up front every day and really focusing on what we are doing.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are so thankful for the donations, and I look forward to providing my students with more great supports in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1768757319689,"projectUrl":"project/engaging-and-collaborative-environment/10018960/","projectTitle":"Engaging and Collaborative Environment","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bradfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10403875_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y11&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768614115561","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10403875"},{"teacherId":10399834,"projectId":9997488,"letterContent":"Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts for your generosity and support! Your donation has brightened up our classroom and allowed the students to think bigger and get creative. \r\n\r\nWe started digging in to the art supplies right away to build a classroom garden for Spring. The students researched different flowers and chose one to build a gigantic model of. At first they drew generic flowers on construction paper struggled to understand how to make it bigger. Together, we studied our flowers carefully, looking at the unique shapes and colors of the petals, and thinking about where and how each flower grows. We talked about building our flowers one petal at a time to match the picture they had chosen to represent. At the end of the project, they were all so proud of how they persevered through some shapes and ideas that didn't work out the way they pictured. In the end, they worked together and created the most beautiful classroom garden for us, and learned quite a bit about a variety of flowers along the way! \r\n\r\nThank you, once again, for allowing my students to learn and grow in a variety of ways. This first project has already helped us learn about teamwork and perseverance, and allowing our minds to think bigger when being creative. We cannot wait to learn about something new and create more art!","fullyFundedDate":1768164304346,"projectUrl":"project/expressing-unique-perspectives-through-a/9997488/","projectTitle":"Expressing Unique Perspectives Through Art","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. T","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10399834"},{"teacherId":10400066,"projectId":9999367,"letterContent":"When I first unboxed our new supplies, my students' faces lit up with excitement! They were especially eager to try the wobble chairs. Before using them, we discussed how to share, use them safely, and take care of them so everyone can enjoy them. One student even volunteered to be our \"wobble chair helper\" and cleans them daily with Clorox wipes. This responsibility has helped students build ownership, pride, and respect for our classroom materials.\r\n\r\nI use the wobble chairs at my kidney table during small‑group instruction, and they have made a noticeable difference. Students are more focused, engaged, and excited to come work in small groups. In addition, the new headphones have allowed students to work independently on their i‑Ready lessons without distractions. With their own headphones, students can fully concentrate, follow directions, and take ownership of their individualized learning while I support small groups.\r\n\r\nAnother major success has been the variety of snacks we can now offer. My students are very food motivated, and having multiple snack options as rewards has truly been a game‑changer for behavior and effort. Moving forward, we will continue using wobble chairs for small‑group learning, headphones for independent i‑Ready practice, and snacks to reinforce positive choices and perseverance.
