They are still being developed, with Spanish translations and other details being finalized. Students will start taking them home in January 2026.\r\n\r\nThe students have seen some of the book bags and are learning how to show their family members how they work. They are very excited to take them home and share them with their moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.\r\nThe books focus on global issues like community action for sustainability, empathy for others, life below water, and life on land. With the electric stapler, laminator machine, hole puncher, Sharpies, and staple remover, we now have the tools we need to create and maintain meaningful displays for our students. These resources have allowed us to put up and showcase our new emotion board, which gives students a consistent and visual way to identify, label, and manage their feelings throughout the school day. The emotion board has already become a go-to resource for the children, helping them build self-awareness and fostering conversations about emotions in a supportive and accessible way.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made our classroom a more organized, engaging, and student-centered space. The children are naturally drawn to the bright and clear visuals created with these materials, and it has been amazing to see them use the emotion board independently to express how they are feeling. Having these tools has not only saved us valuable preparation time but has also made it possible to create durable resources that will last the whole year. The children were thrilled the moment they saw it, and their excitement was contagious. Having access to this new trike allows us to keep a healthy rotation during playtime. About one-fourth of our students can ride at once while others engage in climbing, running, or other gross motor activities. This makes outdoor play more inclusive and balanced, ensuring that everyone gets a fair chance to ride and enjoy the experience.\r\n\r\nYour gift has made a meaningful difference in our daily routine. We've already seen students practicing important skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and perseverance as they wait for and take turns on the trike. For many, this is their first opportunity to build strength, coordination, and confidence through riding. The joy on their faces and the energy in their play remind us how powerful these opportunities are for young learners.
