My student love using the block center, sadly we only have beat up cardboard blocks. Often a student will bring me a torn block, asking me to fix it. We get out the masking tape and try to repair the damage but are often not successful. My students would love to build structures using wooden blocks as well as have various animals inhabit the structures. Being able to offer a block center that is well stocked will open up the imagination of my students as well as support cooperative play among peers. It's an opportunity missing in our preschool program now.
