I plan to have 1-on-1 meetings with students in both classes and around campus regarding grades and their academic goals. Using the iPad to create goal-setting forms and grade checks that can be instantly shared with students after our meeting will create student accountability. I also plan to use the iPad/Pencil with students who need emotional assistance with writing and coping skills apps that are available. Using apps like Calm for students who are in emotional crisis will be helpful. We will be starting social-emotional learning groups for anger management and coping skills, the iPad will be used for content, data tracking, and goal setting with the students and administration.
