The snacks and fidget/stress toys you provided played a key role in creating a welcoming, engaging environment where students could connect, reflect, and feel recognized.\r\n\r\nDuring our ECP Celebration, students used the snacks and refreshments to gather informally with peers across grade levels while listening to senior share-outs and an alumni panel. The fidget and stress toys, included in goodie bags, were especially impactful—many students shared that they helped them stay relaxed and engaged during the presentations. One student even noted that the fidget toy was an unexpected favorite, helping them stay focused while enjoying the event.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were genuinely excited. The combination of food, interactive elements like the photobooth, and the thoughtful inclusion of stress-relief items created a positive atmosphere that students described as \"fun,\" \"welcoming,\" and \"celebratory.\" Many shared that they felt valued and recognized for their academic efforts, which is not always something they experience in a typical school day.\r\n\r\nBeyond the celebration itself, this event reinforced students' understanding of the long-term benefits of dual enrollment. Hearing directly from alumni and seniors helped them see the real-world impact of their efforts. Moving forward, students are continuing to plan their academic pathways with greater confidence. The toothpicks, glass slides, and coverslips were handy for our Biology students who used them for their \"Cheek Cells\" lab. In addition, we usually use the Petri dishes for the \"Mustard Seeds\" lab to help our students understand the steps of the scientific method.
